The wait is almost over—paddle season is nearly here!
We’re in the final stages of prep at Aqueous SUP. Boards are being cleaned and tuned, and our seasonal calendar goes live this weekend. Classes will begin soon, with most launching from a calm, sheltered marina along the Columbia. This transition from spring prep to summer sessions is more than a seasonal switch. It’s the start of another meaningful chapter with Aqueous SUP.
Behind Every Paddleboard
If you’re new here, welcome! Aqueous SUP is proudly a one-person, mobile paddleboarding company based in the Tri-Cities. Everything—from gear prep and class scheduling to instruction and community cleanups—is managed by one dedicated instructor. We don’t offer rentals or full-time hours. What we do offer is personal, high-quality instruction that helps paddlers grow with confidence.
Whether you’re booking a private session or joining a small group class, you’ll receive hands-on guidance, a focus on safety, and a whole lot of heart.
What Else to Expect This Season
Focus on Safety and Readiness
We’ve updated our safety protocols and completed spring re-certification through the Professional Stand Up Paddle Association (PSUPA). Our instruction blends best practices from both PSUPA and the American Canoe Association (ACA), ensuring a well-rounded and up-to-date approach.
All equipment—boards, paddles, leashes, and lifejackets—is being carefully inspected, cleaned, and prepped. Launch procedures are reviewed each season to reflect changing conditions and improve client experience.
You can trust that every paddle with Aqueous SUP has been prepared with purpose—because your safety and success are always our priority.
Purposeful Programming
We’re offering our full series of progressive courses this season—SUP Basic, SUP Intermediate, and SUP Advanced. These courses build skills step by step and help paddlers grow with confidence. Whether you’re just starting out or navigating dynamic conditions, there’s a course built for you. We’re also introducing specialized clinics this season. These sessions dive deeper into specific skills like stroke mechanics, balance, and efficient paddling form. They include land-based instruction and on-water drills for more focused growth.
Note: All of our tours are private guided experiences. Each one is custom-built for your group—whether it’s a solo paddle, friends outing, or a family adventure.
Thoughtful Scheduling
As a part-time business with a solo instructor, our schedule is shaped by water conditions, safety, and availability. The calendar launches this weekend with a mix of weekday and weekend offerings. Space is limited, so early booking is encouraged—especially for private sessions.

A Deeper Connection with the Water
At Aqueous SUP, paddling and stewardship go hand in hand. We began the season with a shoreline cleanup and will continue conservation efforts throughout the summer. Caring for the water / shoreline is central to everything we do. Environmental education is part of every lesson. We share simple practices—like responsible launching, minimizing impact, and leaving no trace. These small actions help protect access and improve water quality. We believe every paddler plays a role in protecting our waterways. At Aqueous SUP, we lead by example and invite others to do the same.
Because paddling with purpose means protecting the places we love.
We Can’t Wait to Paddle With You
We’re excited for what this season will bring—from those stepping onto a board for the first time to returning clients working toward new goals. Every paddler brings a unique story, and we’re honored to be part of that journey. Whether you’re building confidence, chasing calm, or simply trying something new, we’re here to support you—with skill, heart, and intention. Our goal isn’t just to get you on the water—it’s to help you feel at home there.
Let’s make this season one to remember.
